Olamide Babatunde Ogunleye, a popular Nigerian comedian, content producer, and musician also known as Oluwadolarz, has confessed that none of his colleagues supported him when he launched his debut EP album.
During his podcast interview with 'Echo Room', the 29-year-old budding music singer revealed that no comic backed him during the recording of his music album.
This revelation comes after Oluwadolarz revealed how his colleague Layi Wasabi turned him down when he asked for a comedic collaboration.
Oluwadolarz released an EP album titled 'COL (Cost of Living)' on December 15, 2023, through the music label Obafunshy Records. The album features five tracks: 'Col', 'Twinkle tiny star', 'Nobody', 'Halle', and 'Body'.
According to the father of one, he continues to encourage every comedian who reached out. to him, even when he released his EP and received little support.
In his words, “I dropped an EP and not one single skit maker or comedian supported me. I don’t know, I reached out to almost everybody”.
“I still support the people when they reach out to me even after I drop my EP and they didn’t support. They still reach out to me and am still like sure ‘No problem’.
