A few eyebrows have been raised online by Nigerian superstar David Adeleke, better known by his stage as Davido, for his recent remarks against his wife, Chioma Rowland.
Davido, a billionaire businessman's son, disclosed that he had known Chioma prior to becoming wealthy while appearing with Aurelien Tchouameni, Cindy Bruna, and François-Henry Bennahmias in the most recent season of The Bridge in France.
The "Unavailable" crooner discussed his nuptials and his reasons for choosing to wed Chioma on the show.
Davido claims that Chioma was the only woman he could choose since she supported him through his darkest moments.
The musician disclosed that he had dated Chioma prior to having money while appearing on The Bridge.
He said it would have been extremely impossible for him to settle down with any woman given his current level of fame and riches if he had never met Chioma.
Davido told the conversation about his affluent friend who had everything he could possibly want yet was still single.
Recall that Chioma recently disclosed how he first met Davido at Babcock, their alma institution. Even though they first met in 2013, they were pals until 2015, when they subtly started dating.
"I met my wife before I had money, and I was thinking to myself that things wouldn't be the same if I hadn't met her and I was single now," he said.
